Tiziana Scaramagli is Research Assistant to the Director at the Comparative Regional Integration Studies Programme of the United Nations University (UNU-CRIS) in Bruges since January 2009. She started at UNU-CRIS as an Intern in June 2008 and later continued as Junior Researcher from September until December 2008.

Previously she worked at a Brussels-based Think Tank as Project Manager on a Programme devoted to European Security, Defense and Intelligence. She was also a trainee at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris. Tiziana holds a M.A. in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges and a M.A. in International Politics and Diplomacy from the University of Padua (Italy), where she also graduated in Political Sciences and International Relations, after an Erasmus at Sciences-Po Paris. Her research interests include: Human Security, European integration, CFSP and ESDP, and EU-NATO relations.
