UNU-CRIS, the Universidad Andina, in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank, OBREAL and the Latin American Trade Network organise Doctoral School on Latin American, European and Comparative Regionalism, Quito, 30 July - 3 August 2012
The doctoral school is jointly organised by UNU-CRIS and the Universidad Andina, in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), OBREAL and the Latin American Trade Network (LATN).
The aim of the Doctoral School is to bring together a group of Ph.D. and other young researchers for a series of lectures by leading senior academics in the field of Latin American, European and comparative regionalism and to discuss their research projects in tutorial sessions.
The Doctoral School will take place in Quito and will last for one week. The targeted public are (mainly) doctoral students from all social science sub-disciplines in various stages of their research projects dealing with Latin American regionalism or comparative regionalism. The Doctoral School seeks to establish a new network of researchers dealing with regionalism, based at universities and other research institutions all over the Latin American continent and beyond.
The Doctoral School is bi-lingual (English-Spanish).
Lectures will be delivered in the mornings, while tutorial sessions and visits to regional organisations will be programmed in the afternoon sessions.

Luisa Sánchez Barrueco (University of Deusto), Timo Goosmann (German Embassy), Philippe De Lombaerde (UNU-CRIS), and Stephen Kingah (UNU-CRIS).
